On Saturday, December 22 there’s a match you need to know about – namely the matching of Australia’s summer and Harbour with the wines and food of the South of France. The ever hospitable SUFC catering team of Luke and Michelle of Elegancy who have been at University rugby for years have teamed up with former Club Captain and voice of the Birthplace, Andrew Coorey, to launch the inaugural Rosé Bay: a French inspired summer wine festival, dominated by Rosé but with other wines, and with food to match by Elegancy as well as Delice de Paris patisserie and Australian Oyster Coast.
This festival allows tasting, drinking and ordering for takeaway or delivery and of course the chance to sit down for a lovely meal. The Cote d’Azur without jetlag.
