Mortimer and Sukkar honoured for long service

Over the ten years of service to the Sydney University Football Club, David Mortimer has helped the Club secure and maintain its' position at the top of Club Rugby in Australia. As President, David is in constant contact with the coaching staff ensuring that the Club provides the very best environment for players on and off the field as well as during and after their playing days.  Constantly finding new ways to improve the Club, David was instrumental in the establishment of the Sydney University Football Club Foundation in 2003, an initiative which will ensure the Club’s financial security in the future.

Josephine Sukkar has been involved with the Sydney University Football Club for the past 19 years. Josephone regularly hosts the Grandstand Balcony bar functions at every SUFC home games. She also plays a key role in organising annual events such as the SUFC 1st grade player's lunch, the SUFC coaches' lunch and the SUFC Finals Lunch - undoubtedly Sydney University's largest annual fundraising event.
