Touring party heating up in Argentina

The SUFC touring squad have began their Patagonia Cup campaign with three wins on the first day of competition; Christchurch High Old Boys 11-3, El Nationale 31-0 and Santa Rosa 51-0.

Head Coach, Greg Mumm said "the team have really come together and are playing very well. The backline was able to penetrate the defense out wide after some great lead up work from the forward pack."

The challenge for the team will come in the second day of competition when they face the two toughest teams in the competition.

Results will be posted as soon as they are know.

Last Thursday the squad notched up their first win on Argentinian soil in a trial match against Buenos Aires University, winning 21-7.
