u17s win joint State Championship

u17s celebrating their victory
Over a sun soaked Queen's Birthday long weekend the NSW Junior Rugby State Championships were held. SUFC had three teams competing - under 17, under 16 and under 15.
The SUFC's u17s were very strong in their round games held on Saturday and Sunday and made their way through to a re-match of the 2009 Grand Final against Gordon on Monday. It was a tight contest with many bystanders commenting on the high quality rugby that was on show. The final score was 29 all with Gordon and SUFC walking away as joint Champions in 2010.
