2015 Buildcorp Rugby Scholarship

The Buildcorp Rugby Scholarship is administered by Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness as part of its Elite Athlete Program. This is a perpetual scholarship which will be offered annually to an emerging young SUFC rugby player, who is studying a building or engineering-related discipline, relevant to work at Buildcorp. While the successful candidate will be playing rugby at University of Sydney in 2014, he or she will not need to be studying at the University of Sydney.

The preferred applicant will have completed at least the 2nd year of their degree, or be engaged in post-graduate study, with either their undergraduate or post-graduate studies relating to work at Buildcorp. They will be academically solid and have demonstrated their commitment to hard work, team spirit and Buildcorp values on and off the field. While not a requirement, it would be hoped that the successful candidate sees a future career for themself at Buildcorp.

Other than the obvious prestige associated with being the recipient of a scholarship from the University of Sydney, there will be a financial component to the scholarship. The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to obtain work experience at Buildcorp.
