Representative Players
SUFC has the proud tradition of producing representative players and they have all contributed significantly to the Club both on and off the field as players and mentors.
SUFC has the proud tradition of producing representative players. The Club has produced 111 Australian Representatives, of which 91 are Wallabies and between them they have played 879 test matches. Our most recent Wallaby is Nick Phipps, who played against Russia in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. SUFC have 5 members in the Australian 30 man Wallaby squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, more than any other club in Australia.

SUFC players have dominated the recent team selections for the Australian Sevens team. The Club had four players participate in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games were the team collected at Silver Medal – Bernard Foley, Ed Jenkins, Pat McCutcheon (c) and Nick Phipps. In the 2010/2011 Sevens World Series Australian squad SUFC is represented by seven players - Trent Dyer, Bernard Foley (c), Michael Hodge, Greg Jeloudev, Ed Jenkins (vc), Nick Phipps and Jacob Taylor.
