There’s nothing quite like finals footy and this weekend we begin with three bumper qualifying finals.
1st Grade’s win on Saturday was our 100th verses Gordon, and it was our 75th home game against them as well. The last time we lost to Gordon at home was on the 13.5.2000, 19 years and 15 wins in a row at home.
Please find below players names who have played for SUFC this season, but none of them ran on to play against Gordon on the weekend. They may have been injured, resting up for semi-finals ahead, Wallaby Camp or out for the season.
After eighteen tough rounds, we now have only six teams in each competition. The Qualifying Finals are here, and these are the teams that will be competing.
This weekend Minor Premiers Sydney Uni will host Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union for the first round of the Shute Shield Finals Series. 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade will all be playing at home and will be looking to progress to the semi finals next weekend! Be sure to get down to the SUFG and support the Students!
