On Monday evening the 2022 Men’s Blues Varsity squad gathered in the OURFC Pavilion at Iffley Road for the election of the captain to lead them in their 2022/23 season campaign. Following a gruelling three hour process, loose head prop and SUFC product, Tom Osborne was elected.
The blue and gold roadshow rolled into the jewel of mid-western NSW, Mudgee last Saturday. This annual pilgrimage to Glen Willow stadium is one of the highlights of the club calendar. The overwhelming consensus is that everyone has a rollicking good time absorbing the atmosphere, food, piquant wines and hospitality of this region.
This weekend’s Country Round fixture is going to be particularly memorable for one player in particular, hailing from Central West’s Wellington, Mitch Whiteley will make his long awaited 100th appearance for the Club on Saturday.
