Hugh Frazer presents money to Dick Laffan, watched on by team mates Tom Koerstz and Jack Jones, and coach Liam Winton.
As part of the “Back to Uni Day” celebrations on Round 1, 2nd Grade passed around the hat to raise money for the “Matt Laffan Scholarship”, between St John’s College and Sydney University.
The boys raised $400 and presented it to Dick Laffan (Matt’s Father) prior to their Jersey Presentation.
Well done boys, coaches and managers of 2nd Grade – a great initiative!

2nd Grade wanted to recognise “one of our own” Mr Dick Laffan. Dick was kind enough to come down and present the jerseys for our first home game at the new facility. The players all got around to say thank you to Dick and as a small token of thanks presented the money the boys had raised for the “Matt Laffan Scholarship”.
