We are pleased to announced All Blacks legend, Dan Carter will feature in this year’s panel discussion led by sports presenter Stephanie Brantz. With more entertainment still to be announced, you’re not going to want to miss out on the 21st iteration of SUFC’s Finals Lunch.

Dan Carter who currently plays for Kobelco Steelers in Japan’s Top League is considered by many experts as the greatest fly half in the history of game. Carter’s illustrious career includes, two World Cup titles and nine Tri-Nations/Rugby Championships with the All Blacks, three Super Rugby titles with the Crusaders and two Top 14 championships, one with Perpignan and a second with Racing 92, he is also the highest point scorer in test match rugby.

Carter made his international debut in 2003 at just 21 years old, scoring 20 points against Wales. He went on to play 112 games for the All Blacks, calling time on his international career after the 2015 World Cup Final in which he scored four penalties, converted two tries and kicked a drop goal that gave the All Blacks the victory over the Wallabies. Due to his performance Carter was named the Man of the Match and received the IRB Player of the Year award for the third time (equaling teammate Richie McCaw’s record) and becoming one of only twenty dual Rugby World Cup Winners.
