Did you know:

That we have played Eastwood away games since 1947 and from the 51 occasions we have won just 19 times, (32 losses). The last time we won up there was 14.8.2010, with a score 38-24. So Saturday was our 8th loss in a row.

Uni (Waratahs) scored our second highest amount of points in total game points scored last Saturday night against the Qld Reds. With a winning score of 52-41, our boys scored 32 points – Israel Folau 2 tries, Nick Phipps try, Jake Gordon try and Bernard Foley 6 goals. They narrowly missed out on the record set in 2015 verses Cheetahs when Uni players scored 33 of the teams 58 points.

Bernard Foley ran on for his 100th Super game against the Reds on the weekend. Israel Folau scored his 50th Super try and Jake Gordon reached his 50th career points with his 10th try in Super rugby.

William Cocker made his 1st Grade debut against the ‘Woods’ last Saturday.

James Kane kicked his 200th conversion at Sydney Uni since Colts.

At the moment we have been undefeated at home since Round 12, 2017, which is 7 wins in a row.

Big comeback at T.G.Millner Field in 4th grade with the return of Matt Narracott on the wing. ‘Narra’ hasn’t had a lot of footy the past two seasons with shoulder injuries cutting down his game time. Looking forward to seeing him add to his career 52 tries and 1 goal for the Club.

Ed King scored a hat trick in 2nd Grade’s big win and with his second try became the owner of the Club’s 250th try this season.

Stu Dunbar scored only two goals on Saturdays 2nd Grade match, but that was enough as he is now on exactly 100 points for the season. Go Stu!

Will Wennerbom also scored to reach the 50th try in 4th Grade this year. Will needs only 5 more points next round at Rat Park to reach his 150 for the season. He also needs the same 5 points for his career 300 points.

Last Saturday Chris Talakai didn’t get to play his 50th Club game at the weekend but Josh King did, congratulations ‘Kingy’. So against Warringah Chris is again joined by another player in Ben Carolan who shall reach his 50 club games. Ben has scored Best & Fairest points the last 5 games in row.

Last week I forgot to mention Jack MacKenzie-Wood picked up a hat-trick in 2nd Colts match against Souths.
