Did you know:

Back on the 19/3/2016, Rob Taylor coached his first game with SUFC in 1sts Colts.  They won 27-19 verses Eastwood at T.G.Millner field. On the 28th April this year he had his first loss as a Coach with 1st Grade against Norths. In fact Rob has had two more defeats since then, after 45 wins in a row. But not by much, Norths won by 6, Eastwood beat us by 3 and only last weekend Warringah again only beat us by 3. So on Saturday verses Randwick, with the 1st Grade beating them 28-10, Rob Taylor celebrated his 50th win with Uni in just 53 games. That’s a success rate of 94.34%, well done Robert Taylor and many, many more victories to you mate.

Rumour has it that Theo Strang is thinking of changing his hair colour….why? Because on Saturday along with his own try, Harry Johnson-Holmes, Brad Wilkin and James Kane all scored tries, and they are all “red heads”. James also kicked 4 goals.

Connor O’Shea reached his first century for the club with 4 goals, to put him exactly on 100 points so far. Congrats Connor.

You’ve heard the ‘cry’ from the crowd of “Get it out to your wingers”. Well our 2nd XV are blessed, because their wingers Cameron Lawrence (82) and Eddy King (59) have a total 141 career tries between them. But it doesn’t stop there, at the weekend the backline brought up the total to 308 career tries, an average of 44 per back!

While on Eddy King, he now only needs one try to reach his 300th career point. His try on Saturday which helped him to be the 2nd Grade’s top point scorer this season on 15 tries in the team/

Possible new Club record in 4th Grade on St.John’s at the weekend. We beat Randwick 13-10 and our 13 points were scored by the “Schwager brothers”, Josh a try and Joe 1 goal and 2 pen goals. Don’t know if this has ever happened before, but at this stage it stands until I find some other brothers who may have the same feat!

Big comeback by Hugh Frazer in 4th Grade, when he ran on for his 114th Club game, his first game this season.

Stu Dunbar shall reach his 100th Grade game this week and Rohan O’Regan will play his 50th 1st Grade game against Manly at Manly.

James Kane can reach his 750th career point this Saturday, as he only needs 8 points.

Lincoln Whiteley scored his 20th career try in 2nd Grade’s big win which brought up his 100 career points since Colts in 2014.
