Did you know:

That since the 1900 season our success rate verses Northern Suburbs/North Sydney has been 70.81 %. And we added another in the main game on Saturday.

That was the first time since 29th July 2010, the club has beaten Norths in all Grade and Colts games at home.

Manly at home in round 2, was the last time we achieved this feat this season.

With the current standings in the Club Championship we are 4th only 82 points from first place, with 145 points up for grabs next weekend. If we go by the placings of the other three Clubs on the normal  numbers multiplied by the 7 teams available, we would have a better rating with 215 points for 7 bonus point wins. There are a lot that can happen with the Club Championship this weekend, but with three bonus point wins to us, and Eastwood win 1st Colts and 2nd grade , Gordon will have to have a bonus point win against Eastwood at T.G. Millner Field to beat us. If they miss the 4th try, they will end on 1394 to our 1397.

Next Saturday see’s one of our favourite sons reach his 100th club game. Jack McCalman congratulations mate, a fine effort and a popular one as well. Jack won’t know this, but he becomes our 150th Centurion.

Tom Robertson scored just his second 1st grade try against Norths. The last time was vs Warringah in the 2016 Final 6th August 2016. Tom Made his 1st grade debut vs Easts at Woollahra Oval 5th April 2014.

SUFC scored 41 tries to Norths 12 in grade/Colts against the “Shoreman”.

Eddie Poolman was the star of the day with 4 tries in 2nd grades win. Sam Renton got a triple and moved to 6 for the year. Sam also pasted his 250th grade points and also moved onto 479 career points.

Our 3rd grade side had a hugh 69-0 victory with 11 tries scored. Nine of those by the backline.

Max Robson scored 24 points in this game with 2 tries and 7 goals and is now on 114 points for the season. Will Goddard kicked 7 goals in 2nds win and has to wait another week for his 100. Currently on 99 points.

Our 2nd XV is now 1st in their competition, with Randwick having the bye, we snuck by them with one match to go.

In Colts Conor Tunks scored yet again, and now leads the whole club in the Leading try scorer with 10, and also brings up his 50 points, Conor is a hooker. In second place 2 tries each to Josh Schwager a number 8 and Max Robson both on 9, Eddie Poolman is now on 8, and another forward Tim Lilomaiava on 7.
