Did you know:

James Dargaville made his return to SUFC in 1st Grade last Saturday. James played only two seasons (2013-2014) in Grade after time in Colts, before moving to Canberra to play with the Brumbies. In his short time at Uni, he scored 59 tries, 30 in Colts and a further 29 in just 46 matches. He has been away for 5 seasons, welcome back Dargs!

Our 1st XV won its 75th away game verses Norths on the weekend. We have had 115 away games since 1900, not a bad strike rate. Also we won our 10th game in the past 11 games away, going back to 2007.

After 3 weeks out injured our 1st grade captain Guy Porter still holds the lead for the most tries in that team, he’s on 4.

James Kane reached his career 300 points in 1st Grade with a try, 3 goals and a penalty goal and now sits on 924 points for all games played at Uni. James also passed his 50 points this season in 1st Grade.

In our lower grades, Conor O’Shea also reached his 50 points for the season and Will Wennerbom went passed his 75 points with a try, 4 goals and a penalty goal.

Jack Redden got a double in 2nd Grade and took his career tries to 48.

Hayden Pomare made his Grade debut in 2nd Grade as halfback.

Trivia Stat: 1st grade kicked their first penalty goal of the season against Norths, it took 6 games.

In Colts, Harry Wilson reached his 50 points in 1st Colts with a try in their big 44-14 victory.

In fact our 1st Colts (still undefeated) have averaged 57.67 points in the last 3 games and their average for the season is 44.33 points per game.
