It is always good to see our Old Boys come back to the ground on match days. But this season we have nine Old Boys in our coaching ranks. Most of them are ex Representative players 2 forwards and 5 backs. They are Laurie Weeks, Mitch Inman, Peter Playford, Tom Coolican, Michael Hodge, Toby L’Estrange, Greg and Jeloudev. Welcome home men.

Our 1st Colts won in record style on Saturday, by beating Easts 52-0. This broke the previous biggest win back in 2017 which was 63-15.

While on the Colts, our 1st XV has scored 66 tries in 6 games and remain undefeated for 2021.

The three Colts sides have scored 107 tries so far this season. And weird but true our 4 Grade sides also have 107 tries.

1st Colts right winger, George Clark went over for a hat trick in the 52-0 win, which took him to 11 tries in 6 games, now two in front of Hamish Cressey.

Back in the seniors, Pat O’Doherty scored the Club’s 100th try this season.

Nathaniel Tamwoy celebrated his 50th Club game with a 5 pointer.

Next week, Josh Schwager should run on for his 50th Club game.

Matt Hood scored a double in 1st Grade and in doing so reached his 90th career try for the Student’s.

Daniel Poletto should reach his 500points next week, he is on 497 at the moment.

Our Club Captain and 1st XV Captain, Jack McCalman scored two tries last weekend and took himself to 295 career points. Looking forward to the 60th try and 300th point verses Warringah at home on the 22nd May.

Finally, With the big Trans-tasman score at the SCG, 64-48, The 4 Students in the Tahs starting lineup all crossed the chalk, scoring 5 tries between them for 25 of the 48 points.

Harry Johnson-Holmes scored 2, taking him to 10 tries for NSW, reaching his 50th point.

Jake Gordon also scored his 20th try to bring up his century in the Sky Blue.

Bringing up the 4th and 5th tries were Angus Bell and Lachlan Swinton. Not too bad boys!
