Did you know:

That Saturdays 1st grade win was our 60th home win from 87 home matches. In fact we have beaten Wests 115 times from our 182 meetings.

A few milestones met on the weekend, with Stehano Hunt finally reaching his 50th club games and Jack McCalman scored his 50th career try and brought up his 250 career points also since Colts days.

Ben Hughes played his 75th Club game and Conor O’Shea ran on for his 25th 1st grade game.

Our Hookers had a good weekend with 6 tries between the 5 teams that played. Conor Tunks scored 2 of the six in the Colts 1st XV front row. This takes him to 7 for the season.

New player to the club this year is Zac von Appen. Well Zac may not know it, but he scored the Clubs 100th try in seconds big 66-7 victory.

With another 2 tries to his name Will Terry hits the top of the Try scorers list with 7. And in second place are Tim Clements and Henry Clunies-Ross on 6. And with his triple in 2nd grade Josh Schwager is now in third place on five.

Three players made their 1st grade debut verses Wests. They were Angus Allen, Henry Robertson and Angus Bell (the back) who went over for a double in the main game.

I saw in the team sheets a T. Latu and thought his back, but playing in 4th grade ? “Cant be right”. Well same initial and name, related to Tolo, yep, but a younger cousin from Colts come up to play. And Thomas scored a try to boot.

Next week Eastern Suburbs at Woollahra Oval
