The inaugural SUFC Legends Lunch took place at the SUFG last Saturday. The sold out lunch featured three SUFC Wallaby icons, Drs John Solomon and Dick Tooth and Emeritus Professor Saxon White (pictured) and the love and respect for these humble men was quite extraordinary.

Andrew Coorey did a masterful job of facilitating the Panel. There isn’t anyone who matches Cooros’ passion and knowledge of the Club with the ability to distil so much history into such relevant and entertaining questions. We also took the opportunity of recognising three more SUFC Wallaby icons who could not be with us, being Arthur Buchan, Terry MacBride and Peter Crittle, all great competitors. All of these men are inspirations for all members of SUFC.

The Lunch was graced by twenty-two of SUFC’s Wallabies, demonstrating the loyalty that these men have for the Club. Theo Clark was responsible for creating a documentary video of that era which, I can assure you,  is both interesting and moving, if you would like a copy of this heritage item, please send through $40.00 to the following bank account:

It is definitely worth watching.
