Former SUFC Captain, Jake Wainwright will take to the field for Spanish club El Salvador in the Division De Honor League Cup Final this Saturday. El Salvador narrowly lost out in the Kings Cup Final 18-20 to local Spanish rivals Vrac a few weeks ago, this weekend the two teams meet again in their second Cup Final of the year. El Salvador is also the former Club of prop Wayne Borsak.
Jake missed out on the second half of the season with SUFC last year after breaking his Fibula against Norths in July, so it’s great to see him back on the field and playing to higher representative honours.
