Rohan O’Regan, Peter Jorgensen (SUFC U13s Coach) and Tom Carter

Last Sunday night, our SUFC Juniors held their Presentation Night at The Grandstand as a lead in to the 2015 Junior State Championships, which are to be held over the long weekend (6th-8th June).

With over 200 attendees, The Grandstand was packed with eager SUFC Juniors, and their supportive parents, to be presented with their Blue and Gold jersey’s for the competition ahead. Announced by their coaches for the weekend, the players were welcomed by two familiar SUFC players, injured captain Tom Carter (a dedicated supporter of the Juniors program for many years) and new 1st Grade debutant Rohan O’Regan (who came through the SUFC Junior ranks himself!).

A huge thank you must go to Tevita Katafono, Charles Carter and Ivan Pomare (and their wonderful support staff, coaches and managers!) for the organisation of the SUFC Juniors program, and the huge effort that goes into getting teams ready for the State Championships. Their dedication and passion is second to none. Thank you also to Hannah Catchpole for her assistance in organising the Presentation night, and to David Mortimer for his ongoing support.

Our newest recipients of the famous Blue and Gold jersey!
