It’s International Mental Health Week next week (8th – 14th October 2017) and you’re invited to get involved in the following events to promote mental health awareness.

  • Mental Health & High Performance Sport Forum
    Tuesday 10th October, 5-7pm, TAG Family Foundation Grandstand
    Get insights into high performance sport and mental health issues/illness as special guests: former-AFL Footballer, Jake Edwards, Olympic Gold Medallist Diver, Matthew Mitcham and Australian Women’s Cricketer, Sarah Coyte; share their experiences with you and Sydney Uni’s sports performance psychologist, Paul Penna.

  • Mindfulness on the Green
    Wednesday 11th October at 9.30am, 11.30am and 3.30pm on The Cadigal Green
    Free-for-all outdoor Body Balance session, combining Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates to promote the benefits of mindfulness, relaxation and soft movement.
  • F (Functional) U (Understanding) N (Not) N (Necessary) Activity – Water Fight!
    Thursday 12th October at 2.30pm on The Square
    Bring your friends for a water fight. The perfect way to remind ourselves and each other of the importance of having fun!
