Last week saw our students begin an 8-week school rugby program with Petersham Primary School. A huge thank you must go to our highly energetic coaches Sepesa, Harry and Brittany who kicked off the program in superb fashion, leaving the kids wanting more and most importantly with a smile on the face.
The schools program is aimed at building a sense of community between SUFC and the Inner-West, as well as building awareness around our junior rugby programming. We were able to coach and engage close to 200 students from 6-10 years old, both boys and girls. There was highly positive feedback and we are very excited to see where this will lead.
