With today’s announcement by the NSW Premier to extend the lockdown by a further week, our Round 14 match v Randwick will now be postponed.

The Sydney Rugby Union Board has resolved that it is imperative that Rounds 11, 12 and 13 are played upon the recommencement of the competition as this ensures that all teams play each opposition club in the competition.

Further, the SRU have advised that once there is certainty regarding a start date, we will recommence playing those three rounds and then proceed with the remainder of the competition.

Leichhardt Oval is available on both 9 and 16 October to host the Grand Final. Therefore, it is currently anticipated the season is simply extended by the number of weeks missed during the current lockdown.

There has been no update on the Jack Scott Cup women’s competition. However, it is anticipated it will restart in alignment with the men’s competition.

Please continue to stay home and safe and we will keep you updated with the latest information when we know more.
