Theo Strang joins Bristol Bears

Congratulations to Theo Strang who has joined the Bristol Bears on a trial basis until the end of the year. 

Theo who has been contracted to the Melbourne Rebels for the past two seasons whilst still making several appearances for the Students will get a shot in the English Premiership for the 2020/21 season. Likely coming up against fellow Uni teammates, Nick Phipps, Guy Porter and Harry Potter

Theo has been part of SUFC since 2016, winning premierships in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Theo's SUFC record

Theo started at SUFC in 2016, playing 1st grade Colts and scoring 7 tries in his first season. He made his 1st Grade debut vs Randwick at Coogee Oval on the 15.4.2017.

In the same year, played in the winning 2nd XV premiership team, who won by a record score of 51-14 vs Eastwood.

He has played 53 grade games, of which 40 have been in 1st Grade.

In 2019, he played in the runner up 3rd Grade team, who lost to Gordon 25-26 as well as coming off the bench in the 2nd Grade winning Grand Final over Easts.

Theo scored 7 tries in Colts, 4 tries in lower grades and 13 in 1st Grade for a total of 24 for the Club.

In 2020 and 2021 he was playing with the Melbourne Rebels.
