On Monday evening the 2022 Men’s Blues Varsity squad gathered in the OURFC Pavilion at Iffley Road for the election of the captain to lead them in their 2022/23 season campaign. Following a gruelling three hour process, loose head prop and SUFC product, Tom Osborne was elected.
Tom is studying for an MPhil in Economics at Trinity College and cemented a starting position in the Blues front row on his arrival from SUFC back in September. Tom follows in the footsteps of Jacob Taylor (2014) and Nick Haydon (2010) ) are both former SUFC players who led the Dark Blues since the turn of the Century.
