Interested in trying a fun, team and community minded sport for your child? Join us at this free Rugby Union event.
Ages 9 to 16
For players aged between 9 and 16 years Try Rugby Day will be held at Wills Ground, Earlwood, on Sunday 7 March. Registration is open from 10am. All boys and girls welcome.
On the day the players will be be assigned to age groups and will undertake some Rugby fundamental skills and games led by our Club and Sydney University coaches. A free BBQ and refreshments will be available.
This event is hosted by Balmain, Canterbury, and Petersham Junior Rugby Clubs.
Ages 5-8
For players aged between 5 and 8 years Try Rugby Day will be held at St Lukes Park, Concord, on Sunday 28 March. All boys and girls welcome.
- U8s & U9s (Born 2013/2012) : 9am-1.30pm*
- U6s & U7s (Born 2015/2014) : 10.30am-1.30pm*

On the day the kids will be be assigned to age groups and will undertake some Rugby fundamental skills and games led by our Club coaches. We also will have free bouncy castles, BBQ (*from 12.30-1.30pm) and water available. For the adults we will also have a coffee cart so you can get your morning fix.
Look out for our special Waratah guests and get a photo with the Tahman.
