I had no idea who or what Uni was until a friend of mine brought me along to a training session. I haven’t looked back since.
How did you get into rugby:
I started playing 7’s in school on the back of the announcement women’s 7’s would be included at the Rio Olympics. Clearly not a 7’s girl now but stoked I got stuck in when I did. I don’t know if I would’ve tried the sport otherwise.
Most memorable moment at SUFC:
After a gut-wrenching grand final loss in 2017 in what we hoped would’ve been our third consecutive premiership win, taking back the Jack Scott Cup from Warringah last year was really rewarding. There is a long standing rivalry between the two Clubs so the beers tasted a whole lot better that night.
What do you get up to away from the Footy field:
I really enjoy reading and blogging - www.serasituations.com. #sneakyplug
What are your personal goals for the season?
It would be a dream come true to debut for the Wallaroos this season and outside of this, continue to work on my attacking skills.
Team you look forward to playing against the most?
Western Sydney. They are physical side and play with plenty of heart.
All I am saying is for one of our games we need to mic-up Ash Hewson.
